Bach Flower Remedies
Bach flower remedies were discovered by Dr. Bach, homeopath and consultant. He dedicated his life to discover 38 wild flower remedies, widely used in the treatment of mental illness and for personal empowerment.
St. George’s manufactures it all in its state-of-the-art manufacturing facility.
The Bach flower remedies contain the life force in the plant. We know that no physical part of the plant remains once preparation is complete. The healing property within a flower may therefore be considered to be the outlet of the life force of that plant. In effect, the soul or spirit of the plant because it is an intrinsic thing, just as our spirit or soul is to us, it cannot be injured or destroyed. The remedies therefore help us to help ourselves. So think of them not as a medicine but as part of life of you. Take them as you need them. Just as you would eat when you are hungry or drink when you are thirsty. They act not by attacking disease but by flooding our bodies with the beautiful vibrations of our higher nature, in the presence of which disease melts away as snow in sunshine.
ADMINISTRATION OF BACH FLOWER REMEDIES
4 drops of the medicine form one dose. It can be dropped straight on the tongue with a dropper or 4 drops of medicine may be added to a spoonful of water or fruit juice and can be taken as one dose.
Three or four doses are usually sufficient in the normal case but in acute cases the dose may be repeated even at 10 to 15 minutes interval. The remedy can be administered even in the form of medicated globules.
The first dose may be taken on an empty stomach after rinsing the mouth. Other doses may be taken an hour before or after food. Dr. Bach devised seven general emotional groups under which he categorized 38 individual flower remedies, each of which relates to a specific emotional state.
